What do interruptions actually cost your shop?
Every text you answer mid-haircut costs you minutes, and those minutes add up to appointments you never got to book. Put your own numbers in and see the year.
Your numbers
These are example numbers. Tap any of them and put your own in.
Based on a 40-minute haircut, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year.
How the number is worked out
Messages a day times minutes each gives you the time lost. Divided by the length of one haircut, that becomes appointments you could have taken. Multiplied by your price, it becomes money — five days a week, fifty weeks a year.
What this does not count
It assumes every interrupted minute could have been billable, which is not quite true on a quiet day. It ignores the ones that turn into bookings. Treat it as the ceiling, not the invoice.
This is the problem MIRA was built for
MIRA answers those texts for you — booking, rescheduling and filling cancellations from your waitlist — so the minutes stay in the chair.
