What MIRA is
An AI that runs your front desk — and learns your business
Most software for barbershops and salons is a calendar with reminders bolted on. MIRA is built the other way round. It starts from the conversation, keeps a memory of everyone it has spoken to, and uses that memory to tell you things you would otherwise notice a year too late. Booking is the part you see first. It is not the part that matters most.
Three layers, not three features
It runs the front desk
Clients text the shop the way they already text a friend — to book, move an appointment, ask what something costs, or cancel. MIRA answers in their words and their language, at two in the afternoon and two in the morning. When someone cancels late, it works the waitlist while the slot can still be filled, instead of leaving a hole in the day.
It remembers
Every conversation adds to a record of that client: how often they come, whether they show up, what they book, what they spend, who they referred, what they prefer. That record survives staff turnover, a lost phone and a change of software. It is the part no owner can hold in their head across four hundred clients.
It advises
Memory only matters if something is done with it. MIRA turns the record into plain observations — this client is drifting, this one is worth keeping, this pattern is costing you money on Fridays — and proposes what to do about it. You accept it or you ignore it. Nothing that touches money or a client relationship happens without you.
What it does today
- Answers booking, rescheduling and cancellation texts around the clock, in English, Spanish or Arabic.
- Offers a freed slot to the waitlist while there is still time to fill it.
- Tracks no-shows and repeat late cancellations, and shows what the pattern costs.
- Keeps a per-client record: visits, punctuality, spend, tips, referrals, preferences.
- Prompts a rebooking when a client is due back, rather than after they have drifted.
- Takes payment, and handles deposits where a business asks for one.
- Collects feedback after a visit.
- Proposes actions — a deposit rule, a follow-up, a schedule change — for you to approve.
What MIRA is not
Worth saying plainly, because the fastest way to waste your money is to buy the wrong thing.
- Not a marketplace. MIRA works for your business. It does not send you clients from a directory.
- Not a point-of-sale or an accounting system. It handles booking payments, not your books.
- Not autonomous. It proposes and you decide. Anything touching money or a client relationship needs your approval.
- Not right for walk-in-only shops, or for a team that does not text its clients.
Where it is going
Listed separately from everything above, because none of it exists yet and you should never buy on a promise.
- Memberships and packages, priced from what a client actually uses.
- Loyalty that reflects real value to the business rather than a punch card.
- A provider marketplace that matches a client to the right chair.
